Or, buy gt350!
Drive it like you stole it!
When done, buy gt3! Everyone that wants one gets one.
Problem is, everyone wants it right away.
That's why I buy used.
Might pick up a nice 991gt3rs when they are $150k.

Not likely.

Most of them probably going to bubble wrap their 991.2 GT3 MT, and flip or hope for the bubble to keep growing.

Already did along time ago. I'm first in my country on the GT3 list and number 10 on the GT2RS.

I guarantee almost everyone who buys the 991.2 GT3 in manual will, like the GT4 owners I meet on track, use the auto blip downshift function (and rev hold up-shift function) on the circuit. Essentially they will remove 75% of the "skill" in driving a stick on the track and essentially the MT becomes a quasi PDK. But MT for kudos every time LOL!

If you are die hard MT guy buy a 964 or 993 G50 box car and REALLY row your own gears on the track...

996 and 997 GT3/RS you still have to row your own. Drove the Dundon GT4 on track a few times and I agree, the auto rev match is pretty cool, but also not quite a manual...

If that's the case then just pick up a used GT3 991.2. They should be around $50k then.

I wouldn't know how to drive a manual without doing heel and toe changes. If the auto-blip was an option, it would have been left un-ticked!

Same. If I remember correct you have to slow the car down a bit more before dipping the clutch and changing down. You can turn it off on the GT4. Not sure if it affects other "sport" features...

In my previous P-Car (911 50) the auto blip would only work in sport or sport plus and if you turned off PSM then auto blip also is off

In the GT4 i wonder if it is the same

The GT4 auto blip function is paired with cooling circuit logic, but that happens anyways under spirited driving, so it's essentially just auto blip controlled by the Sport button.
Porsche didn't rename the Sport button to something more specific with the GT4, so this creates confusion if people assume it also changes the throttle map like in the other 981 models.

2016-Cayman-GT4-Technik-Introduction.pdf;
The usual coolant temperature is 221° F (105° C) when the engine of the Cayman GT4 is at operating temperature; it is reduced to 185° F (85° C) during sporty driving and in Sport/Sport Plus mode by opening (energizing) the thermostat. This supports a performance-oriented driving style.
