Wait...I came to this forum in 2015 when I got confirmation that my car was in production. Ever since I have been reading your posts above PDK being inferior to a MT. If u cast a stone sometimes they ricochet and do bounce back. Go read your posts and refresh your memory. I mean not only in this thread but in many other ones. I do not discount that you have a significant p personal preference for MT. That is great and you should entitled to your opinion, just don't try to impose on others. Nothing personal.
Many don't like the Cayman bumper,but it's one thing to not like it because you just don't and another because it comes from the lowly Cayman... Blame Porsche,not me...I could care less.

Then after 30 more times reading the same drivel, the feeling returns and I respond again. Yes, it's a public forum. Yes, it's retarded to argue on the Internet. The cabin is large and doesn't feel as intimate from a driving perspective. pdk and all the nannies,including electric steering don't help either. The GT4 feels quite large as well compared to older gen of cars.
My point is : newer Porsches are very capable and need to be pushed to the limit to feel involved. By that time you've reached 100 MPH on the street and you're either in jail or in the ditch.
So the 991 R might not feel as involving as the RS 4.0,but it's the most involving from the cars Porsche is producing at the moment,that is the point. Forget older Porsche " feel ",it's gone. And it's gonna get worse.

i think we should force rank users by informative posts.. then the top ranked ones get TO WRITE IN RED CAPS, and the ones closer to the bottom have to write really small and become limited to 160 characters like a Trump tweet.

What I would like is for there to be a button that you could press on the forum that would automatically teleport all the arguing dudes on the thread to be in a room face to face with each other.

what would be cool is offering a special PDK that looks like a sequential shifter from 997 cup. Add 3rd pedal just for take offs and putting in neutral. Would really make the GT cars feel like a race car.. offering a nice mix for manual and pdk lovers alike.
