I have not started it.

The so called protection of the 911 brand has prevented Porsche enthusiasts from having the best mid engined sport/track car money can buy. A sort of 960 built on the Cayman platform, reasonably priced, that would've destroyed any competitor you can think of,while beating any and every lap time record there is. And it would've been the best platform for race cars.
So yeah, keep the 911 snobbism while Porsche pushes the engine forward with each generation...

I'm really curious to see how much improvement in terms of numbers (e.g. lap times, 0-60, etc.) there is in the 991.2 GT3.

I ask because the 991.2 C2S is nearly the equal of the current 991.1 GT3 in terms of performance numbers.

I have noticed several Pcar dealers and non have started to lower their prices on the RS , any correlation to PAG pending announcements on the next gt series in the near future ?.. And will the trend continue ?

Alex is right. Those images are the final car. The colour render posted has mistake (door handle).

I dont like the GT4 front either or the missing rear grill and the squared off look all round.

However, in the real flesh Im sure it will look the Dogs Bollix (UK speak for really good LOL). These 991 cars always look better in the real than the press pictures IMO.

Doubt they'll use it again in the GT3 after the GT2 comes out. Overplayed right?? They want to keep pushing the HP/Torque/0-60 #'s They're pushing turbos hard and think the inevitable is near
This seems to happen with next generation P-cars. The first version has softer lines, then the second squares up. This is why I never liked second cycle Cayennes.......2008, 2016...etc. I love our 2013 GTS. Really curious on the next GT3. I don't like the look if these renders or clay are accurate.

Porsche really is screwing up the design of the GT3...with the motor recall and current design flaws with the heads some separation from the current design would be smart...

More aggressive look, no shared design with other models, really trick wheels, maybe a fixed duck tail spoiler like the 73RS.
New and fresh, not the same old design......

GT3RS figures territory.
3.2s 0..100km/h
315km/h max speed
and 7:20 at the Ring.
490hp to not make RS and R owners upset.
Rest is cosmetic.
new bumper, new lights, new steering wheel, upgraded PCM.

Not a revolution. Small evolution to make you purchase the damn car.

I don't care how much hp it has. It doesn't change the way I feel about my RS and I'm sure many including Porsche feel the same.
