Nothing scientific but I visited 6 dealerships in east side of country with some PCNA execs a month ago and each store had 20+ long lists for "MANUAL ONLY" slots for GT3. These were stores that all average 25-35 total sales per month.
We already have the definitive front end of the 991.2 which are more accurate from a few weeks ago, these look to be a photoshop with the gt4 front bumper grafted on..
They are going with the more "square" look and more distinct ceases across ALL the models. I prefer the softer lines personally.
In a few years, they'll be back to the smoother lines.
I'm really really nervous that the .2 GT3 will be Turbo. It makes complete sense from everything we've seen with all the other models. I think we're in for a surprise.
The 4.0 is in the RS and R. Doubt they'll use it again in the GT3 after the GT2 comes out. Overplayed right?? They want to keep pushing the HP/Torque/0-60 #'s
They're pushing turbos hard and think the inevitable is near
Between the GT4 front end and the 5000rpm redline, they won't be able to give them away. The 991.1 will be an instant million dollar classic...
But seriously, they do need to go to turbo soon but a turbo gt3 would beat the snot out of a NA GT3RS so they need to go together. I'm sure they can sell out one more batch of NA 3's and 3RS's.
