Haha new engine they say!

If they limit the RPM it won't be cause manual, it will be cause 991.1. Manual and PDK should both have the same redline.

Oh, and your info is wrong. Production will not begging until June 2017. Car will not be released in Paris. It will be Geneva in March.
I have a confirmation that the car will be released in Paris, from someone who is very reliable

There will be GT product in Paris, and always possible to be a big rollout with GT2 RS or they hold off on GT2 RS until Geneva. Either way GT product release will happen in Paris! Source: grandma Porsche

Sounds like a poll in the making....

Paris/3.8
Paris/4.0
Geneva/3.8
Geneva/4.0

i really don't care for the poll. I want something confirmed from a cleaning lady or a Porsche official if its Paris or Geneva and if its 3.8 or 4.0. I have a GT350 in transit and should arrive tomorrow. If the 991.2 coming out in Paris then i will skip the GT350 and just order my GT3. If its Geneva then i will buy the GT350 and enjoy it this season until the GT3 gets delivered end of 2017.

It's also possible GT3 and GT2RS debut together in Geneva in March, they did the same thing in 2015 with GT3RS and GT4. They launched nothing in 2014 due to the engine fire issue, so they had two cars launched in 2015. They launched 911R in 2016, which is like a byproduct of GT cars, so likely they will launch two GT cars in 2017, together or one in Geneva one in Frankfurt.

It's only two years left before 992, they still have 4 GT cars to reveal, I think the order is like, GT2RS->GT3->GT4->GT3RS, two models each year.

It'll be nice to see something official but polls do add to the fun. My guess is 4.0 Gene
va. I'd say 3.8 in Paris is least likely to occur.

Before pulling the trigger on the 350 just wait for a month and you will know whether it is 3.8 or 4.0 then you know whether to get the 350 or pass on it

I'd get your deposit in regardless for the GT3. Some dealers have long lists already.
