Thats right. We all have or all will, if we enjoy them to the max...I hope he repairs and gets out these ASAP.
September 24 and 25 2015 were some of the best days of my life. Followed by 4 more weeks of 10 tracks, 20+ track days and 6000 miles before Shipping it Stateside.
Could have gone wrong 100 different ways. If Porsche would sell me a GT2RS or GT3RS it would be a repeat except I’d take 6 months instead...

Feel terrible for the driver and the car. Hope driver is ok all things considered...
The driver is OK.
It was oil on the track on the exit of karusell.

Damn, oil on the track. Feel bad for him, it’s just worse when it’s just bad luck.

+1

That's rough.

Props to the owner for driving their PTS Acid Green GT2 RS hard, nonetheless.

danish car means:
EU MSRP
+25% VAT
+140% luxury tax on cars.
makes it a 1,1Mio Dollar car. (if you are able to buy without market adjustment)

for sure he was/is insured.
but also "no big" damage.
nobody got hurt.

race it. break it. fix it. repeat.
to the driver.

He took delivery of the car on Thursday or Friday then drove it straight to the Ring, it was wrecked that weekend. I've heard there was a mini cooper involved that ended up on its roof....(haven't seen photo's of that yet) Crappy situation, just glad everyone is OK.

Hatzenbach 1 no longer has the bump that before unsettled the car so you can definitely go faster there.

New tarmac in Hohe Acht definitely faster and safer.

And the tarmac in Brünnchen 1 also enables higher entrance speed and safer approach.
kobalt - you were right, there's a lots of new (and damned grippy) tarmac there now. Weather held up today

So MPSC R tires worth approx 9 secs on Ring over MPSC N2, which means GT2 RS would easily be into 6:30’s on these tires with Estre at the wheel. It’d be great if Porsche went back and reset their 2 RS time....
