I think that was before the shortage of these carbon fiber parts.
Not so much about the carbon fiber parts in general but the amount of work done on these exposed/striped/painted carbon fiber hood. I remember on the Exclusive Series car I viewed, this Youtube where Boris Apenbrink of Director of Exclusive Series mentions it takes two weeks to produce these exposed/striped/painted carbon fiber hood. Please fast forward to 5:55.

Thank you for the research and info. That is very helpful.
In the past my dealer emails me the link that contains the vessel name. Once that link is sent you can literally track what part of the globe the vessel is in. Adds excitement and relief on the l-o-n-g wait to delivery.![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Congrats on your incoming car!![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)

Entry your ship name in the search field. These websites will track your ship when they are within about 100 miles of shore. Once the ship has reached the open ocean you will lose tracking. You can pay extra to track in the open ocean by satellite if you want.

I appreciate it and thank you Chris3963 for the intel. If it does not require to have a racing team, maybe it requires at a minimum a racing driver's license to acquire one. Not sure what would be the vetting process to acquire one of these, and if this is only released in Europe as with other limited Porsche models in the past.
