I don't pay ADMs. If others did the same there'd be no problem.

I don't think of it as unfinished, just a 1LE hood.

I've heard from a very high level source that Porsche says that it is no need for FIA approved cage on bubble wrapped cars.

I'd actually prefer if it was just painted all over as standard, but can't quite bring myself to paint the hood (or roof + hood) to make it look like a 3RS.

In the flesh, the carbon does not look 'unfinished', in fact it looks very high quality, but never photographs very well, IMO. No right or wrong - depends on personal taste as always.

PS - which country are you in, if locking spec shortly?

Mine won't be bubble wrapped for long...

The looks of the WP have at least helped me decide not to strip out aircon, PCM etc.
If I'd gone WP it could have at least made some sense to max out weight savings, but no point if aready a weight compromise. I'm just going to chill out in comfort, and can strip out everything in future, if I ever get it upgraded at Manthey or similar. (eg if I plateau at a 7.01 ring time ;-))

In accordance to the dealer they Will not do anymore gt2 rs for the following year (so production normally will be 1911 units)

If all who wanted the car would not pay the requested by dealers additional amounts on top of the official price list prices, ADM would not be an issue.

If your dealer is right and it is ~2000 units is this really a collector car surely that is the domain on the numbered plaqued sub 1000 unit models ?

What will be special about the 991 GT2RS which will not be in the 992GT2RS ? last GT2 without electric motor ??
