Be warned, they are not very durable.

I have them in my 918 since new, then after only 10 months and this happened.

Porsche replaced it under warranty, but I have since changed out them out or carpet, feels better.

That was the run at lunch time on Saturday, AP had to leave us early to take the car up the hill then come back to join us for lunch.

Buying a GT Porsche isn't a GT car unless it's difficult.

The carbon mats are terrible IMO. They wear quickly, scratch and I don't think they hold your shoes any better than carpet, worse actually.

Can't help feeling like the US market is getting bent over on the Weissach package. 16%+ more expensive than UK and no Titanium Roll Cage.

There also doesn't appear to be a Fire Extinguisher option in the US (There was on the GT3 & GT3RS).

This will be my third car that goes straight from dealer to shop to basically recreate the Clubsport package... Big Sigh...

Exactly.... I love carbon/plastic rice

I tend to only buy cars in black, then wrap them in different flavours.

This is the first car where I worried about hide all the goodies with black paint. Because of this I have requested PTS (highly unlikely) and am
jumping between red, white and silver, almost every hour.

The build I sent to the dealer is white.

My dealer also said they may add some additional colours as it is early days.

Does anyone know when the car will be available in different colours for media reviews, etc? I would be happy to fly to Germany or elsewhere to see it, especially in black and red.

Thanks

Mind you, the carbon weave floor mats were first offered in the 918, first generation.

They might have improved the process and construction and durability now. I wouldn't know how good they last currently as I haven't ordered the carbon floor mats since.

Happy 4th to the state side folks , pretty grand country even if it's only partially great !!

was thinking Trakcar's helmet perhaps a tad small impeding proper blood
flow to brain causing diminished thought process,

but could likely be he's out thinking many by saving time in the morning
not having to hang around the hotel for breakfast on track days ,
cause he'll be able to do his eggs on the hood as he 's appropriately
first on grid for the morning run.
