991 GT2RS

This was a tougher buy than the .1RS. That was easy. Maybe it was the price. Maybe it was the last generation suffering from heat soak on the track. Maybe it was struggling to choose or not choose the red interior. Maybe it was already feeling like a schmuck when driving the RS on the street and this would be visually more aggressive. Good thing about 911s - a lot of drivers just think it's another 911 and ignore you.
Some have questioned the price. This is much more than the NA RS. The suspension alone will make this a faster car and is not a cheap setup. We're talking higher end racecar grade. Can't stay away from that. #becauseracecar

Put in an order today. Was told 3rd on the list. After order was entered, somehow jumped ahead of the 918 buyer. I'm sure they'll sort that out and push me back to #3. Other buyer is a long-time GT buyer - had the previous generation GT2RS as well. But we're talking a small town here and I'm number three on the order in the system - I would think demand will be there even with the unknown production volume and higher sticker. There may never be another 700hp 911 that isn't getting there without a battery (and that will be righteous as well).

I do dig the white gold wheels...wonder if the .2GT3RS will have those as an option.

I'm on the bubble.
Pros:
Love the car and the brute power.
Love the looks.
Love the exclusivity if it is exclusive as opposed to building to order
Cons:
Price. Heavy coin for me.
Turbo.
Non Motorsport.
Unclear if my $ and less of it is better spent on last 991GT3RS that is likely on the way and try and score PTS
Conundrum indeed for me.
Reality is my .1 GT3RS is WAY WAY too fast for the street as is. Maybe just keep it and enjoy it and stop chasing the latest greatest.

The 991GT2RS will be the most advanced 911 road car to date. So the technology in it will be fun.
Bare in mind however that almost everything porsche make from here on in will be turbo or hybrid or both.

To All,
My configuration is PJW24WM9 . If interested, please critique. I have very thick skin.
1) I am a big fan of Lava Orange
2) I played with the head highs several times, like the black
3) I think the satin painted wheels are a nice in between the aluminum and black
Anything I missed? Any additional advice?
Thanks!

Yeah I can't even get a call back on the 675LT lol I think this is a sign. I thought all of the GT2 RS would be the like weissach package 2 tone hood and roof. But it's just like the 997 GT2 RS with just carbon hood for those that went standard. I think this is the right decision.

I can seriously recommend the carbon floor mats, I have them in my GT3RS. Stops your feet moving around on the track and look sweet!

At LHR heading home checking the weather at PBI.
What was I thinking...Must he the nice cool sunny UK weather...
I don't like any of the available choices.
Porsche really offers crappy colors, at least the PTS process is a breeze. Oh wait
