Agree it's guards, and too early for production deliveries. Press car seems most likely.

Colour is hard to tell there - looks different on phone vs laptop.

I'm leaning to Lava only because it looks more washed out than the Red Porsche Polo the gentleman's wearing.

That's my problem. The climate is extremely hot where I live. Winters are like summers in most countries and summers are like 120 F. So this 700hp beast amounts to 600hp realistically adjusting for climate here.

So I will wait for .2 gt3 RS for almost $100k less.

I thinks porsche's reputation for reliability is over rated at this point. Not to say it is bad but the modern exotic cars are just as good. Also I won't be surprsised if some serious engine issues do arise with this gt2.

If buying porsche I'd rather just pay less for a .2 gt3 RS with the gremlins also resolved from the Gen 1. Any body expecting a Frankfurt launch?

The front lift only raises GT3 by 30mm, and the 2RS is already c25mm higher from what you are saying?
Will everyone still feel the 'resale' pressure to spec the lift kit..?

I can see if you live in SFO or drive up and down ramps a lot, but lift always seem unnecessary to me. It's the bumps you don't see that catch you out anyway. (ie when you haven't deployed the lift).

I like the water Idea. Sort of like Methanol injection. Porsche went all out on this one very pleased now I've gotten over the 675LT this is a race car with number plates just like Andreas preuninger said. Also you guys are very nice compared to the Mclaren board lol I think I'm going to love being apart of the team finally.

Agree on the lift issue with you. I have it on my gt3, unneeded mostly and when needed fail to deploy. But on a car at this price point might as well add it. Price is already excessive, adding lift won't seriously make that worse.

You should move - I moved to NY 9 years ago and now I'm getting a free GT3 and Panny Wagon with my GT2 RS...I got a free Targa GTS with my .1 GT3 RS.

This will be my third car that goes straight from dealer to shop to basically recreate the Clubsport package... Big Sigh...
I agree. I know Porsche can't ship it in the car because of regulations, but why can't they give you a coupon to redeem those parts at the parts counter? You redeem the coupon at the "Parts counter" and sign a liability release that says these parts are for "Offroad Use Only". Bam, we get the full package and Porsche is able to placate their US customers. Win Win.

Nah, that's definitely Lava. Lava's one of the most polarizing colors because it never looks the same. In my opinion, it's looks at it's worst in bright sunny conditions where it gets washed out and looks milky. But looks at it's best at a deep darker sharp orange when it's under really good indoor Fluorescent lighting that makes it look like the color of a Persimmon. Then ofcourse there's the really odd time of day where it almost has a Salmon look to it. In some pics it can look amazing and others, eh, not so much. But personally, I've seen the color in person enough on 3RS's to know that I actually like the color but in my opinion must be coupled with black wheels and wing uprights.
