Cool!
(I asume it actually was very cold, the spring seems to gone elsewhere)

I forgot to ask: Do you miss the shift stick when driving the GTS?

BMW M Laptimer sync with GOPRO, thats handy on track as you just press start on big navigation button in between the seats, easy to start/stop and its also start stop the gopro👍
Nice car, but I am sorry to say not as well developed for track as GTS. No understeer on M4 GTS in stock form, plenty understeer on stock PORSCHE GT4. M4 GTS make use of its 4 tire better than Porsche GT4. Also a factor is the tire dont wear out as fast on the M4 GTS

This KW chassis, damn It make the GTS feel more hooked to tarmac and give more racecar feel than stock GT4. But damn that GT4 was Sweet aswell. You had to work harder to get It going on track due to manual shifts😊

I dont accually miss stick shift, but then again I got a 991 GT3 gen 2 on order, It sholuld be stick. Reason is Its more of a challenge to drive stick cars fast, and also its a special conection we like. That I like, but GTS M4 Box Is pretty ok and hook you up to the driving experience as well.

my tires was pretty bad from nur and spa last year and all street driving. I gues I could put the M4 GTS sub 1.25 on Mantorp If fresh rubber. Its always hard the first timeon a track with new car, I seems to brake to early, same at Spa. Need to go back, second time braking often gets better for me. Its new tracks and new KG car to adjust. Haha, reason to go back...

Yes, spring did fly away😡

Ah, Thanks!
My fastest time on this 3.2km track in stock GT4 was 1.27.87min, but had a 65kg passager then. Vs M4 GTS 1.25.85. I guess If no passager still M4 GTS must be at least 1 sec faster here.

I have always thought It was strange that Randy P drove a PORSCHE GT4 a few tenths faster than a M4 GTS on laguna seca. Look at my Times' and look at sport auto, at 2.6km hockenheim M4 GTS was 0.5 seconds faster than GT4.

Fascinating thread. Thanks for all the posts. Noticing a bunch of GTS for sale across the USA. I'm not sure what to pay for this car as they seem to not quite have found their audience yet.

No, its aligned by manthey-racing at Nurburgring. Still its bone stock except some shims. But that was the major downfall with GT4. Stock It was way to understeery. M4 GTS is way better In stock form. Hence right out of factory Its so sweetspoot and you dont even need alignment. All cars are Done propper alignment on factory with 75kg driver.

Interesting. You'd think Manthey could dial that out.

Its a common know issu on GT4 that Its not much you can do to Cure that in stock form.

I loved the car, except that issue. I guess the layout was to prone to understeer, for my taste at least... But very solid gripp from rear of car.
Most gone Max aero rear on GT4, that accually make It worse. You need a propper camber kit all around to make the most of the GT4 tires. I never installed that. Great part with GTS, It drive better straight from factory(If set in the propper track setting)

My friend is in to cars, hence he got a channel on youtube, I happen to get stuck in a nice film he did from SPA event okt 2016. The F488 is my friend who film the 360 film I posted before, hence he stay close to capture some drift. We just drive rather slow these laps to get some M4 GTS sliding in the wet.
