It was already installed when we bought the house. 1962 construction we remodeled, and they had previously converted the garage into a room. We converted it back into a double garage with separate workshop. Nice tthat I have a full bathroom out in my garage even if I never use the shower out there!

I can finally add to this thread I’ve been following for years. Moved into a new home this spring, spent the last couple weeks getting my lift installed and hanging cabinets. Still have work to do, but wanted to show my single post lift. I had a BendPak 4 post in the old house but the footprint was too wide to fit in the daily driver.

I’ve replaced with a 6,000lb single post and I am enjoying the much smaller size. Only difficulty is getting used to backing the GT3 onto the lift as the single post really makes getting out of LWB impossible with the door coming close to the post.

It’s coming along. Added the can lighting, still need to adjust the brightness level (3000k) but overall I am happy.

Lonj, I'm not much of tractor guy, although my brother and I just bought a new Kuboto 7060. I'm fascinated buy the tandem Massey Ferguson tractor, but not sure what it's used for. Sure looks like it must have been a lot of work!

Any tricks/tips on backing onto a lift?

Ed,

Are you using the Liftmaster 8500s for your garage door openers or some other wall unit? Looks great.

Chris,The inspiration was provided by the earlier Tandem creations from the 1960's of Ernest Doe & Sons in the DOE Triple D using two Fordson Power Majors, Andrew Wood in the TED 40 using two TE 20’s, and lastly by Henrick Nielsen in the Golden Birds using two FE 35’s. The original designs were an attempt to get more horsepower to work in one round of the field. The DOE Triple D had 100 hp total, which was more than what was available in a single tractor of the time.

Very interesting. As I said, I don't know a lot about tractors, but always enjoy learning. My brother and I are having a great time figuring our Kuboto out and buying lot's of attachments for it. Can't wait to head out to his son's ranch to start workin! He also has a small, 32 HP John Deere.

For the Porsche garage content, my brother has a nice setup in his home with a drive-on lift. It's where I do all the work on my car. He has a 996 GT2, and just recently sold his 993 turbo. It was very said to see that car go. I can't imagine working on a modern Porsche without a lift, as everything is done from underneath!

Oregon plate ‘911 GT3’, LOL I have ‘GT3’

Your garage is better than mine but you are never getting my plate.

Its on my truck at the moment to lazy too deal with Oregon DMV and transfer back to the ‘new’ GT3. To keep this on topic here’s the truck and trailer in storage, Bendpak boat lift:

I go very slow. Get it lined up with my mirrors as much I can and quickly open my door to get a peak.
I want to put down a strip of tape just inside the ramp rail so I can try to line my tire up with that while backing up.
will experiment with that this weekend.
