What’s the insulation rating on those garage doors? They look cool, but unfortunately where I live we get extremely cold temps in winter and my garage is heated. I’m guessing their insulation value is not that great. Awesome for warmer weather though. They look spectacular!
not sure will check, gets below freezing in GA ...........the glass in 1 inch think similar to doors on homes/thicker than windows.
The glass frosted doors are an amazing look but I think it depends on the property and the privacy you are looking for. Id go this route if you couldn't see the garage from the road.
My biggest regret with my last garage was the glass on the top panel as we were on a busy street and anyone could see inside or see that the lights were on and come and bug me, haha - in-laws and neighbours.
Beautiful Ed. What's your ceiling height, 16'? and garage depth, 30'? And lastly, what is your garage door height? Is your garage going to be a conditioned space and if so, how does the glass doors factor in, insulated glass?
Local company. https://www.cornerstoneoverheaddoor.com/
Specified black metal/opaque glass doors.
I haven't seen the garage at night yet. I imagine the lighting will cast shadows but I doubt you can make out details.
Place is looking great!
I have a couple questions if you don't mind.
What is the height of the garage doors? 8 ft?
What is the ceiling height?
What is the overall length and width of garage?
Wow - that's an amazing garage !! What cars are going there
Thank you. Current stable is a Pista,720 and M8 daily. Working on a few others. House is minimum 18 months from completion, close er to 2 years so lots can happen between now and the .

Trying to get an idea of dimensions....thanks!
Thanks guys.
Interior wall dimensions:
Ceiling 13'
Depth 24.8' far left bay, 22.8' middle and right.
Width 44'. This doesn't include the attached storage space to the left of the garage which I think is about 6'x20'?? I tried to eek out more depth but I was already starting to encroach on the Mrs's backyard/pool
Front 3 doors are 10'x10', rear pass through is 8'x9'
@MWA1977 yes, I installed a 24,000 BTU LG minisplit. I haven't fired it up yet since the garage isn't done yet. Walls are insulated but the flood water pass throughs are still open to the outside. Waiting on SmartVents to cover those up, then the space will be buttoned up and ready for AC.
Glass is insulated but will likely still be an issue with retaining interior temperatures. But I had to go form over function for the overall aesthetic of the house. Doors face North/South, so they fortunately won't get any direct sunlight. My bigger concern is the power output of the minisplit which was selected by our AC contractor. From talking to others, purely based on the size of the garage, I think it may not be enough juice. That, combined with the doors, I have a bad feeling I'll be running into cooling problems.
Thanks guys.

looks like plenty room in there for a currently dfw-based yellow CGT!
