Hawt. Love how you matched the ceiling to your tops as well. Have so many exhausts sitting in my basement, like them on display like that!

So when you do a project do you have a mobile cart to load tools up on or do just have to walk back and forth between all the drawers? Thats my only concern about "fixed" organization...I'm organized, but in a disorderly way!

Not sure I'd know what to do with a clean surface in the garage....and couldn't deal with tools stored all over the place...just make sure they consistently get put back at the end of the project...

AllAboutThatP, is this a metal framed shopped that is finished out inside or is it a standard wood framed garage? I am getting ready to start the design phase on our new place and really want the looks and aesthetics of the typical wood framed garaged as I want to add in/attach a game room and living quarters to it that is all nicely finished out on the inside. I however, have seen some metal framed buildings that look just as nice and one can't tell the difference between framing materials. Just curios how yours is constructed as it is very well done.

Thanks

If you look over on the right side there are two mobile carts that dock under the workbench, so I can move those around the garage if I'm working on something further away.

This is wood framed. I can't remember, but I think it's 2x8 or maybe even 2x10. I have a 3ft tall concrete wall around the perimeter because I have a skid steer with attachments and wanted to be able to park them right up against the wall without damaging drywall. So, the wood frame is on top of that. The walls are spray foamed and insulated. I also have in-floor heat, a wood stove, as well as AC. Living in WI, I have to keep it well insulated and heated for the winter! LOL!

Sonic has a sale right now on some larger boxes with tools. Was just looking this morning. Think it goes through the 25th. Check the Sonic tools USA website

I did see that, thanks. None of the newer deeper boxes were marked down, which is understandable. I ended up talking some sense into myself and simply ordered the sample kit. Marked down to $60 from $209, that's a really cheap way to do a quick quality check before taking a bigger plunge.

Loving all of these cabinet setups. After going back and forth between doing sonic and others I went with this Husky setup. I didn’t really need anything spectacular as we will keep this house for 3-5 years I’m sure. It was about $1200 total from Home Depot delivered

pretty happy with the quality and it keeps all of my stuff organized. I will be building a shed in the spring to get all of the additional crap out of the garage and then doing an epoxy on the floors.

Very cool thread! I’m envious of the set up some of you have. Here are some shots of ours.
