I think Porsche test R with a "basic" GT3 gearbox, motor, chassis etc... with a full gt3 interior...Like i said it's the sprit of the original R... wait this week and we see it the final product.

Why would they put the R seats in a test mule? I can see your point in testing engine/gearbox in a gt3 body. But why put the seats in there?

Obviously some guys here have seen the genuine article and these pics are apparently not representative.

Given how stupid rare this thing is going to be, it would be cool to see them go all out. Full carbon fiber interior with air-cooled style vestigial center console...minimal ornamentation, but impeccably made. Bespoke body kit and not just a GT3 sans wing. Almost like a Singer in spirit. It would make a +$250k sticker appropriate and the rarity meaningful.

Looks like the 991.1 navi screen and not the 991.2. You would think Porsche would update that, the rear tail lights and put some straps for the door handles. I'll wait til it is released for final judgement.
