Just an interesting fact posted by JCBH, that's relevant for any R customers trying to come up with the lightest build (I remember people talking about this a while back):

An interesting tidbit that I found very surprising was that all of those people that opt out of full leather due to weight have it wrong: on the 991 it is actually lighter with full leather (was the opposite on the 997)! Fun little fact. My car must be really light due to all of the leather bits!!
Thx guys.

the "R"
believe it or not, that logo is worth 200,000
insane yes, but true
surely there are other complex argument we can discuss til end of time, but in one simply stroke it's the "R"
much like e = mc^2 more or less defines everything
no, I don't have an "R" wash wah wah
Hello Mooty. Asking price wise, that is the minimum I hear going around. The high end wants $300K.
But from what we have read by far, just an amazingly well put car. Pure unadulterated fun car.
Those brown seats just don't match the black interior. They look like an afterthought or like someone couldn't afford to buy matching seats so slapped in whatever color they could find.
I want one of these, I hope a 991.2 version will come out in numbers that are reasonable, no offense but Im tired of the 918 people getting all these thank you gifts

That will happen - with the GT3. It will be 90% of the R, maybe more. If you care for the stripes, you can add them too as seems to be the trend among 991's lately.
