I do have this right , I just don't like to "R"gue

it almost puts me off coming here , I love cars as much as when I was broke . Ones current financial situation should not be the barometer from which one is judged .For good or for bad .

The want for this is not as strong as a GT3 or GT3 RS.
Your dealer must have special connections! As far as I know, my dealer who sold seven 918s won't be receiving any 911R allocations on their own, except ones for their 918 customers.

The US will be receiving 265 cars only. Yes, there are 297 918s in the country, but some of them have already been sold off, so their original owners lost their VIP privileges.

Brokers are now offering 230-250K over sticker on the R. I can't complaint about that

Let's see so far I have not been offered a 911R a LaFerrari, special aperta, a TDF or Jennifer Anniston. Who cares? Only someone who collects odd ball Porsches.

Yup, all GT Porsches belong on the track.

Which track events do you go to? PCA? Speed Ventures? Speed District? I want to see a 918 on the track.

Unfortunately, none of them. I do private track days with a few of my buddies. We do Big Willow and Fontana during the week (because it's cheap) and occasionally, we go up to Laguna Seca in groups of 10 cars.

Not a big fan of Big Willow or Fontucky. I love Buttonwillow and Chuckwalla. We might be organizing a private track day with BBI for April...20-30 cars. Let me know if you are interested.

Lots of people on this board have money. Few have the passion and good taste that you display. Nice going!

So that explains the change from 600 to 991 units.

265 for NA market seems low????

I think the R looks gorgeous, and even for those that can't get one its good news that the next gen gt3 will be offered with MT.

i saw my first 918 in the flesh, and then I saw it on/off, sideways for the next hour at COTA. The owner was having a blast.

265 has to just be the 918 allocations. From what I understand, non-918 allocations haven't been handed out yet, but it took a few weeks on the GT3 RS following Geneva. If my dealer gets one non-918 allocation (they'll get 5 918 allocations), I will be taking it.
