Sure, but fun street driving is doing more with less...
There's is the 450HP BGB upgrade.. Lighter..

But yes, if you can get one its a better investment than GT4 I suppose.

It's also very damaging to dealerships trying to build a loyal customer base. I've yet to buy any Porsche from any of my local dealers and that's not for lack of trying.
I agree with this completely

so from 2016 till q1 q2 2017 they can build 991 R and
an additional 1600 RS
this would fill their GT production 2500 cars per year capacity until Geneva 2017 GT Turbo presentation and push as much as possible to regular mini turbo Carreras
Well done and btw great car the R

You're not holding well on your Turbo GT3 forecast right now lol

Very well said, I am already itching for this car and my local dealer (Pfaff) is one of the highest volume in NA and their client base is massive. Considering the number of unfilled GT3/GT4 orders I would be better served to probably to start searching around for an R!

I believe the NA GT4 AP is talking about is the GT4 RS and perhaps we get very lucky and they decide to stop protecting the 911 and put the 4.0 in it at the factory. It actually fits with the performance gap given the 991.2 will be the GT2 and GT2 RS.

Direct report from my dealer today -

He spoke to the mothership - -every 918 owners appears to be saying YES to this car,...
Roughly 250 will come to states; - expects possibly a handful to be available for us mortals.

So - likely I'm out, and don't get one.

I will second that...especially the "local dealer" comment.
It is hard being your local dealer's best client, when the dealer doesn't get the GT allocations (because his market territory does not have a large 911 appetite).

I can agree to that. I got nothing. I'm just here to lurk, give my opinionated posts, make videos, and look for inside information from members like you so to satisfy my daily car dosage

We all knew that us mere mortals would not have a chance. The 918 owner that I bought my GT4 from said he's going to take the car and not sell it to me. Oh well, I just wanted to track the car anyhow.
