That's nearly a 10% reduction on the cost of the car. That sounds good but now I'm wondering if that will fairly compensate me for the depreciated loss in value.
At least you're getting comp. Here in UK nothing for people with cars at the factory, even mine that was finished (27 Feb).

All they could say was they were the last produced and last to get engines. I asked will mine come with snow tires? They laughed.
That's what they said to me November 14 delivery coming without snow tires!

Mine was originally to deliver May 16th then pushed back to May 23rd and now November 14th. Have not been offered anything from PCNA.

My dealer emailed me yesterday he is finally understanding the scope of the delay. Wants to renegotiate my dealer compensation again, now that it's clear my car will not be here by summer (October-November). Oh and we are negotiating down not up!

YOCOHO - If your car is still a 2014 you are entitled to $2000 per month from your expected delivery date. Also, you should receive an additional 12 months warranty from when the car is titled. Now, for the Loaner, that is really between you and your dealer and the relationship you have.

I would be talking with my Concierge and lightly applying pressure.

if your car is moved to a 2015- then- nothing has been conveyed in regards to compensation at this point from my understanding.

Man 'o Man Cyrek....I feel your pain $$$$. You should get compensated to the max. My 2015 is supposed to arrive 11-7-2014. Since I fell outside the MY2014 build cutoff by 3 days, I guess I should consider myself real lucky. That said, I doubt they will give me any compensation (even though Timmy Quinn said he would). But.... your car arriving around the same as mine?? WTF?

Yococho

JimmyD is right you need to get on this and don't just call email also. Get with your dealer and concierge email other general managers at other dealers and Cc Ian moon each time. If you can't lock down a loaner get the $100 a day.

Rubbaman, if your 2015 arrives before my 2014 which is very possible anyone want mine? Will sell it back to the dealer before I even drive it. Thanks Porsche for $12k for doing nothing and the 6 months of a loaner that I can do whatever I want with.

Clocked, won't you incur state taxes by flipping the car?

Green, yes I will but my dealer thinks he can get me a 2015 to order but will not know for a month or so. Thus if I flip into a 2015 I would use the sales tax credit to offset taxes on a 2015. I have no interest in owning a 2014 that comes so late in the year. Good point you raised.

The fact that you won't be able to drive your car til the spring makes your decision a no brainer. I'm sticking with the 2014 (assuming I could even get a 15) because of the incentives and because driving weather is actually better in late fall/winter in TX.

Porsche canceled my 2014 build and moved it to a 2105 build which is now scheduled to be delivering on Nov 14th not May 16th which was last Friday!

I did talk to my concierge rep last week I told her my story and she strongly suggested I see my sales rep in person. So I did yesterday I asked him for a loaner car he said no those were only for those who have purchased or taken delivery of a car. What they are going to do is eat the increase from 2014 - 2015, install a Clear AutoBohn protection trim and full hood and also throw in at N/C my first service.
He also did offer me any car on the lot which I could purchase below dealer cost use it (keep it under 5,000 miles) and then he would purchase it back. $8-10,000 difference.
This is getting very old.

Who's getting a $100 per day?
