My dealer made me satisfactory offer, Porsche says comp nothing in writing, my dealer came through again and gave me his 50th anniversary car.

I haven't seen any reviews About the 50th. How is it. Wide body RWD and power kit. Is it notably better than the C2S or the C4S?

Cyrek's dealer rocks. I had to fight to get a base 991 loaner this week. Must say I'm really enjoying the car.

The 50 is a great car! The power kit is what the standard cars really need, and the power and noise it makes is very satisfying. It also has loads of options a few of which are available on gt3's which are nice to experience. Also the white and gray 50 cars have really interesting paint jobs that change in different light dramatically. So before this car I'd have never considered a color like graphite. Oh, I wish I owned another set of the neo Fuchs, amazing looking wheels with a matte black finish. So if they offer a wide body GTS 2wd car with more power that would open configuration options not available on gt3's which could make a hell of a road car. You'll Likely need both your wallets and your change jar from home to cover the price? Bottom line you look at the price of this 50 car and your gt3's are a bargain!

Yes that's my loaner and it is helping with the wait.

I think my dealer been so frustrated himself with Porsche and the confusing lack of information and mis information on his computer system he showed some pity on me and gave me his only 911. He has solidified my relationship with him.

easily the coolest loaner ever. If I had gotten that I wouldn't have gone out and bought a 599...but my dealer gave me a panamera 4...which is great for a family car but not a 911 lol.

Nice,
my dealers were a little disappointed about the cars being shipped to port to do the work. They were looking forward to doing the work. Plus the engine sells for 75k, and not only do they get paid for 14 hours to do the work , but they get the markup up on the engine as a warranty part. Of course the numbers would change a bit, but still would have been good for them.

I think you've just answered everyone's concern as to why Porsche decided doing the swaps at the Port. That is...if anyone had any doubt...

I thought the GT3 engines retailed for $55K? Anyway, I had another opportunity to talk with my service manager again today as my wife's Audi has been returned twice for a key problem and the Porsche store is next door. We were talking about the engine swap, and he thinks that a part of the reason in addition to the QC and cost issues is that PAG doesn't want individual dealers messing with or taking apart the removed engines; something that does apparently happen.
