igirl is in France; I'm glad owners over there seem to be getting cars back. I'd hope so, since they don't have to have their motors shipped (slowly...) across an ocean.

That said, félicitations! Amusez vous bien avec votre GT3. Photos après le week-end, s'il vous plaît!

Can't wait to hear your impressions after you get the car back, Sam. If there is a new and improved software map, I'm sure you'll notice.

I know the car will be faster, badder, awesomer and all that... Factual or not, it'll be my reality.

Y. they might have just put the RS engine in it and not told us. If the RS engines were ready roll on the assembly line -- , it might have been cheaper from a manufacturing and testing perspective to just test the RS engine for the con-rod fix , vs. take 2 steps back and re-do the GT3, AND RS Engines --

If I can't get my car back by the end of this month, I don't want it anymore and I ask for a full refund + compensation.

Swap done at dealership. Engine came with different pieces already connected (exhaust for instance), so mostly "plug and play" operation. No particular difficulties.

Quick feedback.

I have done 400 km tonight. Mostly at 5.000 rpm. Once at 7.000 rpm.
I am glad to get it back. I cannot wait for testing it on track. And comparing it with my 458 Speciale.
Nothing special to add. The new engine feels exactly the same as the old one.

Congrats! Did they do anything else to the car (mesh screens by radiators, software) that you know of?
thanks,
Jeff
