The yellow that Audi has offered as PTS on the R8 and other models is called 'Imola Yellow':
and it's not as vibrant, rich & deep as Porsche's historic/vintage 'Signal Yellow', seen here on the only .2 997 gt3 RS done in that color for a UK client:

Am i not allowed to be excited? I mean life isn't worth living if you cant look forward to things. My family is well taken care of, im healthy (knock on wood), business is humbly doing ok (knock on some more wood), so im excited for this big boy toy. If this isnt worth the excitement i used to feel as a kid when getting something new, then please tell me what is?...............
I'm not praying to the thing, my life isn't stopping or changing, this isn't taking priority over anything........... So just some plain Jane excitement from all the boys with time and money invested in this car and thread is fully warranted and should be enjoyed by all.
Ill say "its just a car" after i wreck it and im unharmed. Right now its a little more than that.

If its not included I'm gonna stick it on somewhere and be a proper exhibitionist.
I like 4.0, unless its a flat 8 5.0.
Correct. The "4.0" nomenclature is on a alloy pressed decal a fixed to the CF panel under the engine lid. This is what the slide show meant. The exterior of the car for 100% certain will have a vinyl type decal with "GT3RS" in smaller font than 997 GT3 font just like with earlier iterations (996 GT3RS. 997 GT3RS etc). It will not be known as 4.0RS.
I cannot take credit for setting this thread up I am sorry. Peter (TRAKCAR) started this thread :-)

Porsche sure is doing a good job of keeping this cover under wraps, we basically didn't learn **** in a year and they are milking it for all its worth.
The only surprise worth waiting THIS LONG for could be a flat 8 at this point.
Still looking for tickets to Geneva but it may not be there, I probably cant get into the circle jerk section anyway and end up buying a AMG GTS or do something else stupid..

PAG escaped the family bearhug for the evening. I count that as a win.
And the rear might as well be an exact copy of the Jag F-Type.
