PCNA requires that the car be registered in an individual name. They will not allow registration in an LLC, LP, Corp, or trust.

I've never heard this before. Are you sure? If you're paying cash, in full, why would they care? Also, you're actually buying the car from the dealership, not from PCNA. The dealership buys from PCNA, who in turn buys and imports from PAG.

Dario those torque & Hp figures are what I would expect from a 4.0L upgrade. 45 bhp and 23 lbft is a nice jump for 200cc increase (although perhaps the 991 GT3 makes a little more than 475 bhp).

It sounds like its going to be something special indeed, and a nice reward for your long wait.

How much was the base 991 GT3 in your market with VAT?

Any news on RWS?

I forgot to ask about RWS,i will ask asap.

Sincerely i dream about a early spring delivery, really this time i'm really tired to wait,to much time!!

991 GT3 in Italy is around 142.000 Euros with vat, really i think the best offer(price/performance) of all the Porsche range.

Hi Dario, excellent post - thanks for this. How much more is the price you quote than the GT3 was in Italy?

Particularly if you received the generous European compensation package as many of us who first registered our MY2014 cars in Europe did! I should say not many MY2014 owners around the world paid more than 85-90% of list price after the compensation (in some markets maybe only 80%!). In this case the "value" is very hard to compare.

All your other information seems to ring rue with what I heard. I heard 510 bhp is the only difference with late March/early April build to start (delivery starting May. I am not sure how they will issue allocations and take firm ordered before Geneva and One would imagine they will need to forecast parts on suppliers (bucket seats etc) so my view is that only early press cars will be available in late April/May and special customers. I dont believe LHD market customers will start to receive their cars until June with RHD cars produced in July and August. I have been led to believe production will be very short ceasing by September which would be possible if they were only to produce only 1200 units world wide which is what some rumour say.

With more downforce, wider track and tyres, increased HP and torque and possibly a small (20-30kg?) saving in weight you would hope the Ring time will fall from 7.25 to 7.15-7.18 (not that it matters). If RWS is not included then it could be as high as 7.20.

Please keep me informed of what you learn. I have had my 991 GT3 now for basically 1 year (produced week starting 22 Nov factory collection 4 Dec). It will be almost 2 years by the time first RHD 991 GT3RS make it to New Zealand. It seems to me to be too long to wait (I will probably not take my 991 GT3RS allocation as the price delta is too great especially given my use on track). I remember you on rennteam over 1 years ago waiting for the RS so I do hope yours is one of the first ones mate as I know you will have been waiting 2 years for it then! It will certainly be worth it - I am most jealous of the colour orange - my favourite!

Rennline should make a dummy third pedal, feels good when you push on it, pretend it's a clutch, buddies see a clutch, but nothing happens except you go faster.

Nothing to tell thanks guys,i'm happy to can share these rumors!

Dan,the costs of the GT3 here is 142K euros.

Macca,i will use the RS on track only a few times a year, but due i use my cars only in the week end(i work under my house...)i need something special, that also looking it in the box makes me happy, and i think an orange RS for this can work

Also i need something to stay with for a few years,i'm tired to run behind restyling, new models etc.,i choose the RS instead of a Turbo S also for this, this time i whant something really special, and also that hopefully doesn't have the depreciation of a "standard" 911.

I had 996 Carrera,996 Turbo,997 Turbo...i need to change,hope not wrong.

In the next weeks i have also a chance to make a test with a 991 Cup,can't wait!

ciaoo
P.S. not sure on the power, someone tell me 500cv,others tell 520cv, so i'm not sure.

Can you elaborate or guess at what this means?

Could it be something to do with downforce, ie grip at high speed? Traction implies he ability to put power down under acceleration. With the new rubber I'm sure it's improved, but I can't quite get my head around "50% more".

192 euros in Italy would translate to a 172 base in the US.
