Update from 911uk.com:
The lighter, faster, more expensive 991 GT3 RS will revealed at the 2014 Los Angeles Motor Show, not at this week's Paris Motor Show as earlier stated.
Cars arrive from March 2015.
--------------
March 2015 is the delivery date on the pre-contract I have with my German dealer.

Well, we can all stand down again and speculate for a seven more weeks. Press and Trade days start November 18 for LA show. It'll probably be driven on stage by Santa Claus

Disappointing Paris for Porsche:
Porsche’s focus was on the next-generation mobility with the company’s hybrid cars and the S E-Hybrids in particular. The Porsche 918 Spyder and Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid drove on stage first to warm the crowds to the latest addition to Porsche’s plug-in hybrid line-up: The Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid. A long name for a plug-in hybrid version of the facelifted Porsche Cayenne which will also be shown in its other model variants here in Paris.

No. Though I don't want to comment until the launch and my dealer actually confirms 100% that they and hence I am getting a car... Until then it's just a piece of paper and a big dream! I have waited years for this model.
But if I get given one I'll do the factory collection and post the entire trip through Europe on here
Let's see what happens...

SO, what's the betting?...(I have no insider knowledge on this)
(1) LA Launch November 18 2014
(2) Geneva launch March 2015
Many think its Geneva, but am struggling to see how they would start production in (say) December on an unannounced car and keep it quiet for several months. Alternatively, if they start production after March, would be a very short production run. Just do not know the likelihood here.

I've heard Geneva. I can't see it happening for LA. Geneva is the worlds greatest automotive stage for new cars and the RS is one of the most anticipated cars. It's release is long overdue. If it is Geneva 2015 it will be 2 yrs after the GT3. AP stated the RS would follow the GT3 by 6 to 9 months, but obviously the engine issues changed that. My guess is we will see the official details of the RS a few weeks before Geneva, as Porsche typically does with such cars.
