hmm, 7:20. Pretty awesome. Almost as fast as a 3 year old vette, and just 12 seconds shy of the GTR. I'm glad I'm getting a GT3. Just 5 seconds slower on a 7+ minute lap.

So, my understanding is that the development of the car is complete, and has been for a while. Do y'all still think they are further developing it minor ways up until it's release, or is the development car's/final specs just going to "sit around" for another 4-6 months?
Not a single insider can still confirm whether it will have a 4.0L?

4.0L for sure and 500hp + range
NA engine - not turbo
PCCB not standard
3 colors - some kind of a orange, some kind of a purple and white

Google Translate:
So, nothing of subsistence....
Each generation of the Porsche 911, it's the same story: fans await GT3 and GT3 RS versions, the most extreme. This year, it was the visitors of the Paris Motor Show Paris who are privileged to see the new 911 GT3 RS.
Opening the aricle picture
Gills peck on the front fenders, air intakes on the rear fenders, double wing, opening on top of the front bumper, exhaust and central dual output (like a GT3), the new GT3 RS is not in the lace and the tone. It is made to make the powder and on the same track so it should also rule the roads. Under the hood, it's still a "flat six" (six-cylinder boxer), of course, which assures. This is a version with the 3.8-liter engine develops 500 hp.
The arrival of this new generation GT3 RS is really awaited by fans of the genre. Because this version has been delayed. Block the GT3 "core" has indeed encountered some problems causing a fire that forced the engineers of the German brand to look back on the engine.
But do not spoil our fun. The GT3 RS is "unique", it is a collector even before it came out.

If it truly is a 4.0L, those will be some big pistons for a 6 cylinder spinning to 9,000rpm. Let's hope they find a way to make that happen and not knock the redline back to 8,500.
BTW, there is a small article in this months Car & Driver about pistons. Must not be released online yet, but one sentence in the article mentions that in the future, piston manufacturers will (hopefully) achieve 175hp/Liter with NA engines...and of course more if turbo'd.
Just a ray of sunshine for those NA supporters.
