Thumbs up on the color if true.

Wonder if the 918 buyer is looking to have a matching pair when the RS arrives?

So went to the dealer, sadly the car keys were put in a vault by the service manager so the sales guys weren't able to open it to check the color code. They weren't 100% certain it had it on it.

The build sheet doesn't have the color code, so they're going to see if they can dig it up tomorrow as they know I'm considering an orange for my RS. The car has more of a pink hue to it than in the photos - so it probably isn't blood orange. Brakes match much better in person than in photos.

I'm traveling the next few days, but hopefully the dealer can send through the code. Or ask the owner when it gets picked up - it was ordered so long ago they couldn't remember!

Likely true, however, the RS is far more than the aforementioned.

Porsche is already advertising the new Cayenne before Paris, and still nothing pertaining to the RS. Geez, guess we'll be speculating for another 5 months and waiting to see owners take delivery for another year or so (assuming same delivery schedule the GT3 followed).

Yeah, the wait can be killer.

I'm expecting my 991.2 GT3 RS in ~2017 (especially because it must be PTS). I don't mind the wait, to be honest, if it's for my perfectly spec'd car.

not many here are in marketing i guess.
the "RS" two letter is worth $50k easily.
it need not be ANY DIFFERENT than GT3. it can be a wet sump 991, just slap the RS on and put #192/300, it will sell...

this is marketing 101.

it ALWAYS works.

I once put an RS sticker on a 997.1 GT2 and sold it for $375k.
