Congratulations, but sorry to hear it cut your track day short!

I am sure you will be very happy with the new engine!

Were you art CMP with PCA Carolinas? I was there with my 991.1 GT3 and my student also had a 991.1 GT3. Good to hear this is on the way to get a new engine. Curious why you would chose Hendricks vs Porsche of Greensboro for the work (I think your profile says you are in High Point).
Anyway best of luck!

Nice to hear it's going smoothly. I just picked up a 2015 with 38k miles and have since done 3 DEs and put 4k miles on. No hint of trouble yet... hope it happens in the next 15 months!

I honestly don't trust Greensboro as much as I trust Hendrick. Bad experiences with customer service and inability to complete jobs requested at Greensboro.

I just picked up my GT3 with a new G6 motor. It took 5 weeks from start to finish for the job. Normally the receipt for warranty work does not show cost. I got a copy of the bill that goes to Porsche....... $112,647.01 (see attached).
I will do a 1k mile break in, keep below 6k rpm. Oil change and analysis, then we a ready to drive as it should be.

I'm confused. I assume Porsche supplies the engine and any other parts to the dealer, so shouldn't the invoice to Porsche be only for labor?

Porsche documents the cost of everything in an invoice. Cost of the motor has to be put against the warranty on the car.

That’s the highest invoice on an engine replacement by about 40k!

We just purchased a 2021 Panamera GTS CPO for about the same price as the engine replacement. Porsche got my money one way or another.

So where does the dealer get the parts and what does the dealer pay for them? Is the dealer making a profit on the parts?

Yeah that invoice cost is crazy. Mine (PA) was under $60k in July. I doubt there’s actually $100k+ of real money, probably list prices for everything?
