Good News! Porsche NA gave the green light to replace the motor. Thanks to David D. the Service Manager of my dealership and Shinetta at Porsche NA. Hopefully it all goes smoothly. I'll keep you all posted once I get it back.

Glad to hear! I'd like to think Rennlist was a positive factor in PCNA's decision to provide a new replacement engine.

Myself being a shopper, glad to hear this. The right thing to do at this price point.

As a guy on the fence between .1RS and .2GT3, I think it's good that Porsche is doing the right thing. However, I thought the .2GT3 engine was bomb proof. It seems no GT3 engine really is bomb proof.

The engine is not bullet proof. Screwed up copying the actual quote I wanted to answer

Any time you build thousands of any engine, they are not all going to be perfect...

Subscribed as well.

Any modifications or extensive track days they are trying to hang on?
Good luck we have found PCNA to be stand up and a high level of integrity so I bet it will be handled to your satisfaction. All the best

Engines, like all mechanical things, break.

It's not that something breaks, it's what happens after that particular something breaks.

And as for Porsche, it generally has been pretty good (IMS notwithstanding).

Bulletproof is a word used too casually and too frequently.
