A dropped valve usually means that a bit of the valve breaks off and gets dropped into the combustion chamber. Now you have bits of metal flying around in the combustion chamber while the engine is on, and this would cause engine failure in short order.

Thanks a lot! I got it fully understood! Really appreciated it! I guess quality of motor oil and right oil temp to rev up are very important factors to prevent this problem to happen

Just for my education, when this happened, did any of the sensors triggered or you went just by "weird noises" coming from the engine? Just pure curiosity...
