Correct CND cars trade at a discount in the US market and there are a few procedural items to import them but it’s been done countless times with professionals

This happened a fair amount for the 991.2 builds. If you picked the vents or extended leather dash and picked a standard stitch color (black or red for touring or silver or red for wing GT3) all the pieces would come correct with matching stitch. If you selected extended deviating stitching in an alternate color like yellow. When your SA entered your build they HAD to add a stitch color code for the extended leather items in text popup field such as the vents and dash if they forgot to which most of them did or didn't know then the stitch on the extended items would come with the default stitch color and you would end up with Frankenstitch car. If you search Rennlist you will see some threads back when these were delivered.

This was also an issue with the 992. Typically dash stitching not matching seat stitching, etc. In some cases it's a glaringly obvious mistake.

Need some advice on this one or if anyone looked at it. Seems like its moved around quite a bit and has cage in it.
I spoke to dealer and they claim its very clean. They put 4 new tires but didn’t do recommended maintenance. They say it can’t be CPO bec of the cage?

I bought a car with a cage that wasn't CPO as well, i'm not sure if it was due to the cage or because it had other modifications. Either way, generally they only CPO a car that is completely stock, so they probably didn't think it would be worth the labor hours to remove it to convert it back to stock to get CPO. Since getting just the certification from Porsche costs the dealer a grand or two (can't remember)

Cages do not prevent a CPO… dealer isn’t correct. I’ve bought many cars and also seen many CPO cars with cages already installed. There may be something else preventing this… if there are no major mods then it could be the cost… if you want the car ask them how much you need to pay on top to get the car CPO’ed.

I asked already- they said $47k for CPO which makes no sense.

Ask the service manager for their inspection report. Also a breakdown as to why it’s that price. Something is off…

The current auction makes this MB GT3RS appear like a bargain.
