Also, for years I've been say that 911 GT cars are made for the track, not really suited to being fun road cars. Well, I was wrong. This RS is fun to drive at all speeds on the road, with all the upsides of feeling like a cup car with none of the downsides. This RS is a MUCH better car than the 991.1 GT3 I traded in.

It'll be interesting to see what this pretty much perfect GT3 goes for on BaT.

29,500 over sticker for a low mileage winged GT3. MSRP or lower guys... any day now.

They just need to make a semantic pivot to inflation-adjusted MSRP or lower

Yeah, we didn't need to factor in inflation much when it was around 2%, but at 5%+ it makes a big difference. My '19 RS at MSRP of $225k would inflate to about $273k today, and I bought it for $240k, so it's well under inflation-adjusted MSRP, which I think is reasonable considering 13k miles and CPO. Inflation is real and it sucks, $200k buys a lot less today than it did a few years ago.

The 992 3RS is almost $300k MSRP for a similar build (with a PTS color), which is more than I'm willing to spend on one car, and I feel like the 991.2 RS is a better value considering the performance being not a lot less than the 992, plus the 991.2 has a frunk, glove box, no hot air into the cabin when windows are down, analog cockpit, and probably some collectability aspect. I'm hearing conflicting opinions about how the ride quality of the two cars compares on bad roads.

I think we got a little spoiled. Almost 30k over for a 5 year old car is pretty good. If they go to MSRP or a little below that’s still good in my opinion.
