I'm likely to move on my PTS Oak Green 991.2 winged GT3 in the next few months to make room for an inbound Dakar.
Not formally on the market yet, curious what folks think is the right aspiration price-wise in the open market. Not inclined to trade to the dealer.
- 2,975 miles
- manual
- leather/alcantara with silver stitching
- extended range fuel tank
- FAL
- Bose
- dashboard trim package in leather
- interior trim in carbon fiber
- full bucket seats
- steering column casing in leather
- aluminum fuel cap
- PTS Oak Green Metallic (22L)
- MSRP $175,890
I ordered with the base base headlamps without PDLS so they're the light ones from the Cup (preferred look). It's also spec'ed without Sport Chronograph so it has a flat dash. I had R-Strada do a set of Schottenkaro (tartan) seat inserts and the OEM gray alcantara are unused. Suntek Ultra PPF in all the proper spots. Certainly not another car like it.
$205k to $220k. Top end for someone that really values the color (which should be on the high end of PTS premiums) and cares more about that than lack of PCCB. Otherwise, it's a about as perfect a spec as I'd imagine, so should be the ballpark of top of market dealer offers.

Sweet. If in your shoes, I'd have in mind a non-negotiable floor of 200, if the Dakar is getting close and it hasn't moved (unlikely).
210-220 comes to mind. I think yours would be the most desirable on the market right now listed around 220.

That is an amazing spec. I REALLY like the base headlights, I got those on my gt3rs as well. My gt4 I went no wart (unlike the RS), and I also think it looks better. The crazy wart people on RL have a point, I am not a fan of it anymore after going sans wart. I would take anything within reason between 175-200 to the person you most want to sell it to tbh.
Just sell it to someone you feel good about and move on to the Dakar and fun with that.

That makes zero sense unless he’s selling it to someone he is close enough to that he wants to gift them 7 figures. The car will sell for over $200k on the open market.

holy cow - dream spec of mine especially in PTS oak green! I would totally pay you $210k for this except for the small problem of having zero garage space with 3 p-cars already. I was planning to sell my 991.1 pts gt3 to make room this summer but have had zero time. And I’ll buy your Dakar from you when you’re done with that :-)
GLWS! Really wish I could get yours, but I think in terms of price, I think something in the low 200s as others have suggested is appropriate.
@brownan beautiful GT3, I wish you the best with the sale! I’m sure you will do well!
My naive question is: how are you planning to use the Dakar?
So I'm thinking this Dakar is sort of like a four seasons 911. Our country place is in horse country and so there's some dirt and gravel roads. Not that the Dakar is needed for that per se, but will be able to use it to take it to events and park on some pastures instead of our Q7 or RAM. I personally love a 911 in winter inclement weather so it'll be super for that as well. I had this 2007 997.1 Turbo which I loved and regret selling. It was my DD for three years and funny enough this Dakar is same weight and power. The 991 and 992 Turbos for me sort of entered the "too much power" universe. 480hp is just about perfect, whereas 600+ I'll never be able to use. The other thing I'm thinking about with this Dakar is winter HPDE (think frozen lakes in upstate NY...really fun, used to do in a B5 and B6 S4 Avant) and then also some rally stuff. By rally stuff I'm thinking Targa Newfoundland and Alcan 5000 but I've not done too much investigation yet. We'll see...I'm going to use it in a way I didn't end-up using the 991.2 GT3. My 997.2 RS has 26k and I'm on my second race car, having folded the first one in half at a race at WGI, so I like to use stuff.
Wait, an automatic with a range 4? How high do they push the rev limiter with those tunes?
Big learning for me too - yes some of these tunes floating around raise the limiter so then when you bang on the limiter you can get up there pretty high
So glad about PPI - over rev report here on forward for me even on these

Seems a terrible use of money to gain a few incremental horsepower since most buyers would never touch these cars with overrevs

A set of PCCBs away from being an ultimate spec but the miles are also really low - 220k is probably top of market for a winged car so maybe 210k to account for PCCBs? I wouldn't take less than 200, maybe not even less than 205k
