But for a unique PTS well optioned and well taken care of example? No they haven't moved much. Sold my .2 six weeks ago for $225K, $20K over msrp, very well maintained, low mileage, but no warranty left.

In fact there are now murmurs of a second increase in prices, now worldwide on 992's. I ordered my 992 GT3 right around Thanksgiving. If true this would mean that my order is price protected from two separate price increases during the order to delivery timeline. That is unheard of. And if you think prices for 992's don't affect the last model that bowed out, you might be sniffing household cleaners. We are in the midst of obscene inflation. If you want something, you better get it now.
I agree with this. Good cars will always command a higher price, period. Whether its the spec or the car's history, buyers will be willing to pay a premium for a well optioned well maintained car of this caliber over one with a less desirable build sheet or a questionable background.

Also, I think another possible factor at play here is the imminent end of the ICE motor. In a few years, you will not be able to go out and buy a new car with a 9,000 RPM 500+ hp engine. That metric alone is difficult to quantify in the value argument and could effect GT car prices in a way that makes them a little less susceptible to inflationary risk and/or market fluctuation.

msrp $224,500…..sounds like a steal(for the seller) at current price of $25k over with 14k miles and the very desirable lizard green color! Not!

a WP sold on bat with fewer miles for about 20k under msrp.

Not a bad price given that it appears to also be equipped with a Dundon Exhaust

kekekekeke

when I waz a buyer an shopping
I waz surprised how many peepo needed to finance
most sellers passed on my offers but dey all came back a week or 2 later
I always asked and dey said da financing fell thru

as an aside, if u live in a high sales tax state, finding an appropriate tax strategy to avoid the sales tax, may help sway some peepo to purchase nao (and no, not da usual pleb, basic betch Montana LLC shiz)

Most dealers I've spoken with in the last few months who are willing to divulge actual sale price verses list price are selling 5-10% below asking - OK - that's only a sample of two dealers - haha But prices are coming down enough that I'm actually going to buy in the next couple of months. I'm not trying to time the absolute bottom, as I'm going to daily drive the crap out of it, so I know it's going to be worth A LOT less than what I pay, but that's how I treat all my 911s - drive the wheels off, put snow tires in the winter and canyon run, rock chip that crap out of it from the gravel, but it's priceless fun drifting on snowy roads without having the danger of high speed dry pavement drifting.
gud 4 u
I'm da same

I could not mental gymnastics a $200 car as a daily, felt tew extravagant, otherwise I'd get .2 rs
but sub $200 no problem kekeke

lol just like me, when I was shopping for my GT3, I inquired one from a dealer, he said there is one guy that put a deposit down already. I said oh ok and went on with my day.

A week pass and the salesman said the guy couldn't secure financing. Not sure if real or just a fake story by the salesman, but guess a lot of people really do look to finance.

I ended up purchasing the car later

I mentioned this in several of my recent post. A great number of people are having tough time securing financing due to increased rates. I hear this directly from a number of porsche and other brand car dealers. People who need financing in these cases of failure to secure financing simply cant pass the bank’s income threshold. This should also show everyone how so many people who buy these cars at their prior premium pricing was able to do so due to ridiculously low rates/income requirements, therefore inflating the car market. Its a bit absurd how the interest added to the monthly payment suddenly becomes problematic. People probably make $200-250k per year and try to qualify for $150k financing.

Good luck to those trying to sell their car privately in this environment. Not a lot of cash buyers out there and having to deal with buyers who need financing is a major headache.

992 GT3 6-speed 2800 miles in BAT went for $35k over. Way below the $100k over mark a year ago. It’ll be tough for 991s to sell at listing prices or anything close given how 992s have gone down so much in price.

Uh huh. Same exact build, 3 months ago the day before my lock date, and then yesterday. Money is money no matter if you consider it a mark up, inflation whatever. There's reportedly another worldwide price increase coming.
