REAR clip/lights look 991.2 to me as the tails have the notch of the 991.2 that is not part of the 991.1

Someone spent a lot to make these changes. Typically, (for those with a .1RS who want it to look like a .2RS), you'll see the side skirts, door stickers and sometimes the fender vents. To add the front and rear bumper, lights (which would be a requirement with the .2 bumper), is a costly change. From the pics it looks nice if that's what someone is looking for.

Thanks CubsFan1...I thought I was seeing things. I am reaching out to get more information from the seller though they did not mention it on their listing so curious what they may know...or not.

When interest rates rise do we think dealers won't be able to sit on over priced cars for 3-6months at a time without price drops like they are now?

It brings me back to the 997 turbo generation. When the 997.2 came out, most wanted to upgrade to the modern looking led taillights. Unfortunately, the taillights were not interchangeable and the bumper needed to be changed if someone wanted the OEM 997.2 lights. Some actually did this. At the same time due to massive demand the aftermarket was quickly looking for a plug and play option.I recall there was a group buy started on Sixspeed from a source in Canada, they were one of the first to sell and warranty a decent alternative. Quality was pretty good and they stood behind their work. I believe the Depo lights launched shortly after.

if interest rates rise fast, and inflation is still 7%, there’ll be a lot worse things to worry about that dealer interest costs…Jeremy Grantham is calling for a big recession. Demand destruction would just be the start…

I came across this listing as well. I couldn’t help but wonder if maybe there was crash damage or perhaps the owner just liked the .2 style bumpers. I wonder what a vehicle history report would indicate.

carfax shows no damage or accidents but it was a Canadian car until recent so carfax might not know.

Carfax doesn’t know everything… even in the US.

Unfortunately I’ve learned this the hard way. I always run as many checks as I can on any VIN before I make a purchase. Crazy how many “clean title” vehicles have prior listings on Copart.

I dont understand why people buy a loaded WP car and spend all the money on mods but the car has headlights with bulbs from 1995.
