Bought an Audi R8 LMS GT4 for the track, so changed my mind. If I don't sell it in the next month, will proably give BAT a try. Or wait until spring.

Seems like this Touring is a pretty fair deal on a fan favorite PTS with all the popular options.

$225k ask

Gents....first time buying a 2018 GT3 from out of state. Never bought a used car from private party before, always a dealer. I flew out and inspected the car and he even has the title. Im back in Ca now and sellers wants the full amount transferred before he will let the transport co pick up the car. I understand this, but obviously there is alot of trust here. Is this the only way a transaction can happen? I wish there was an escrow service or something that would protect the buyer once he wires the entire funds....no small amount here. Any advise is appreciated.

For what it's worth, I had my trade-in vehicle shipped out to a dealer I bought out-of-state from first, before the dealer shipped the new vehicle I purchased. Not an apples to apples comparison clearly but perhaps you can fly out and pick up the keys in exchange for funds?

There may be a service that handles these transactions. One option you have is to fly back and handle the transaction in person. For example, you draw up a bill of sale, including terms for payment and then receive the title when the seller receives the payment. Fly home with the title in hand and arrange for transportation. You should speak with your insurance carrier up front to clear all is good while you don’t have the car in your possession but will be the legal owner. You could also turn the transaction into a great road trip and drive back with your new GT3.

Just hire a local attorney to facilitate the trade.

Friend is looking to trade his $178 msrp agate GT3 winged manual with 3k miles, FAL,PCCB, buckets and more on a Ferrari. Trade offer is $185 - looking at this thread and recent Manhiem and BaT trxns tells me this is very reasonable, if not pretty good. Thoughts?
