may be that is just you and the way you deal with Porsche dealers, you are too shy to negotiate? they are no better than a used car dealer in the Bronx, most are unethical and know nothing about the cars they are selling

sofas are very comfortable and honestly in my experience I did not find any considerable loss of stability in the sofas compared to the LWBs and I experience this every week so perhaps the fact you are a newbie has something to do with your tragic experience.

The LWBs look better and probably lighter than the sofas but I would never say they will throw you around on the track such that you have to jam your legs against the center console
there’s only a penalty if you consider desirability and resale value being less than vs a non-sofa a penalty.

too shy to negotiate rofl if you only knew how many dealers I went through to get the best adm on my Rs order when new hahaha

Porsche dealers with those kinds of cars (high demand, low supply) make take it or leave it prices for the most part.

they obviously didn’t take a huge discount considering the car sold that fast. If it was sitting awhile I would agree with you.

i'm not surprised the car sold for what it did. its not just the pdk and sofas. the color combination with red and yellow is probably reducing value here.

as for the sofas.. they definitely mute feedback and vibrations from the chassis due to the extra padding. thats the trade off. more comfortable = less engaging.

This logic goes right out the window when you have multiple bidders, which is common with cars like that these days.

What would my Miami Blue .2 RS sell for? In stock form or with all the mods which are close to 20k.

7k miles and 220k retail.

PCCBs/Lift/Headlights/Sound Pack, Buckets etc.

Thanks

Correct no WP Package.

So if I wanted 230k to keep all sides happy that would be a good number?

Obsurd statement that a tracked RS is "greatly devalued". If they are not maintained and have a bunch of wear and tear (e.g. no PPF, stone chips everywhere) and missing peices from the undercarriage for example from improper trailering, yes - those are all things that should reduce the asking price.
If the car has been maintained well (service records are best), has a clean DME (for manual cars) and isnt beated up on the outside beyond what a professional detailer can repair / re-PPF, that statement makes no sense.
If a buyer is trying to lowball by claiming a car is worth less if tracked, then just don't enterain the discussion. If dealers are stating that on a trade in, then go to another dealer or sell on your own. Its such a generic statement across so many markets and cars, its wrong in so many ways.
Its simply a buyer wanting the "virgin" experience with their pre-owned car. Like never driven in the rain, garage kept, etc etc - lol, good luck. The vallets at the dealers will make sure thats not the case!! I would trust track driving in the hands of someone reasonable that maintains the car vs. having these sit in the garages of older owners who never drive them.

Also LWBS>Sofas all day long in any application.
