This GT3RS with Weissach package and magnesium wheels, just sold today for $260k on BaT. I actually thought it would go higher given the crazy environment at the moment.
Sold for $14k less than the Chalk one without magnesium wheels a couple weeks ago.
Me getting a GT3 is going to have to wait as I'm not chasing these Tulip prices. If and when prices come back to reality I'll be ready. Prices are climbing to new highs daily. To those selling all the best get it while you can.
It would be great to hear from someone who paid 50-100k over MSRP for a used touring with sofas. No judgement, I get that sometimes you just want what you want at the time you want it. But is it more of like... "I was waiting forever for a touring..." or "my touring won't come in 2 years and I just want one for now" or "there's levels to my pimp game.. hate the game not the player?" I am genuinely interested.

Fast forward a few months to hear thoughts about self loathing...
Is sofas necessarily a big deal? I think it depends on how the buyer thinks of the car. Less ostentatious GT3 or naturally aspirated GTS?
For me, only filters were color (couldn't be white, silver, black or red) and must have PCCB.
Secondary factors were FAL and LWBS, but those weren't deal killers, just things I assigned higher values to.
Everything else was things I assigned lower values to.
I have LWBS, and prefer them, but when I bought the car, I was commuting 20 miles each direction and going on overnight trips on the weekends fairly regularly, and I think the longer you're in the car, the better the buckets are.....currently, I'm using it for much shorter avg trips, and if this was my "normal" i'd prefer the sofas. For anyone know is both making short trips and has regular passengers, I'd see that sofas would be nearly a "must have".

Is it short sighted to assume that LWBS are universally preferred? Also, it seems that it was a rather common option for tourings.
Also x2, those were pretty sweet 18's with the houndstooth.
Maybe that was the perfect spec for whoever bought it and not a concession. Interesting none the less that the record-setting touring (AFAIK) was with 18's though. I was a little surprised.
The buckets arent bad but i would love to trade mine for some sofas, i was looking for a .2 RS with the sofas but didnt want to risk waiting any longer and looking at current values i am glad i didnt
I don't know if I'd classify those tires as beat on. lol. Car is meant to be driven anyways, but it is odd given the super low mileage. Also, a bit of a strange build. Looks like most of the options are for additional leather. No FAL, or extended range fuel tank.
