Rare Mahogany Metallic 2015 .1 GT3 with 26k miles. PCCB, 18-way seats, FAL, LED’s, and full leather. $162k original MSRP. Asking price is $128k.

Not a fan of this color, but it is 1 of 6 Mahogany .1 GT3’s to be delivered into North America.

I was willing to look at it, but the color is just not what I want my GT3 to be. So tempting with the other options on it, but I'm sure it'll be gone in a few weeks.

Does anyone have any theories as to why the market is so hot? Is it because people are not a fan of the 992, or is it because they aren’t patient enough for a 992 allocation, inflation, or all the above??

the market is hot for everything .......there is limited inventory for all cars due to covid and supplier delays

With the market the way it is, what is everyone doing with insurance these days? My .2 GT3 6spd is under my 'traditional' car policy with no agreed value and I'm beginning to get scared that in the event of a loss, I'll be short changed.

On the one hand, I'm free to drive and pick up my dry cleaning but on the other, a collector car policy would guarantee value..

Great question, I'm concerned that even my peon .1 is underinsured via USAA right now. It's time to look at a stated-value policy via Hagerty or something of the like.
