The key thing you need to look for is a shop that has a tire removal/mounting system that does not touch the face of the wheel at all. As far as I know all Porsche dealers are required to have this type of system. I would imagine shops that routinely work on high end cars would have one but I would check to make sure before handing over my wheels. I've used my local Porsche store and they have been great.

Does a regular or most tire shops have a machine with an adapter that can remove and replace a tire on these wheels? Just wondering if takes a certain cone adapter because of the CL or is it pretty much dealer done only?
Thanks for posting that video. I just ordered a RENNtorq from you. So now I can take my brand new Precision Instruments C4D600F - 3/4" drive torque wrench/breaker bar combo and figure out what to do with it. Actually, I already know. I am just now coming back to this after ordering a V2. I was under the assumption that the torque wrench came with the tool. Bummer. Still waiting on my V2 but I guess I will have to wait for the torque wrench anyway.

That would make it unnecessarily more expensive, as many people already own a nice torque wrench in this range (same as for 5-lug wheels)

Duh.... true. My brain takes awhile to get up to speed. lol
So since these ultra precision torque wrenches seem to be sold out am I to assume a regular torque wrench +/- 3% would be fine as long as it is calibrated correctly?

If you're looking for alternatives, my personal preference for torque wrenches is the German-made Stahlwille brand (I have 3 in different sizes). You can leave them set at the exact torque needed for the centerlocks (with the Renntorq tool) and it doesn't put any strain on the measuring device if you don't reset to zero when you're done.
And more importantly, you can use the wrench to loosen the center bolt as well as tighten it (it also puts no load on the measuring device when you use it to loosen), so you don't need to bother with a breaker bar.
They make a large variety of different models (some electronic, some mechanical, etc.) but I usually like the straight mechanical ones for their simplicity, lower price, and those don't need a battery.
This place in Italy seems to have the best prices (fast inexpensive delivery too). I'd probably recommend size 20 here for least expensive version that would give a nice sized lever arm (part 50204020):
While they're only guaranteed to have 3% or 4% accuracy, I've found them to be WAY closer than that and they hold their calibration for much longer than some others.

You sure? Because when I searched for it in Google and clicked on the link for Amazon it went to a different torque wrench. What is the URL you used? Actually I take that back. I didn't want the 250 foot pounds because you only need 95. Plus that one is 5 inches longer as well. I want the 150 foot pounds one like RENNtorq suggested. They don't have that one on Amazon and the ebay guy is out of stock at the moment. May not matter however if you don't carry it in the car. I will, so that's why I wanted a shorter one.

I just used mine for the first time today. It's so easy to remove the lock. Set my tq wrench to 135lbs and remove. 95lbs to lock on and go home. It was so easy to use and well worth it wo having the hassle of using a long *** breaker bar or tq wrench. I used my regular 3 ft length tq wrench. Good investment
