INTRODUCING the RENNtorq Center Lock Removal Tool for 991/997 applications
#198
But this tool sets you up to buy a second set of wheels & tires, powder coat the calipers, change brake pads, wipe down the shocks and more!
In past GT series, CenterLock loathing was so great a 5 lug conversion was popular. That cost 5 times what this tool is priced at.
RennTorq adds so much usability to CenterLock owners and small enough to stow in the frunk, bravo

Happy New Year Rennlist and thanks for all the support in '19!
My New Year's resolution is to finally have some units in stock which I expect to happen by early next week. If you have any questions on the tool or delivery just let me know.
Thanks,
John

Have my RENNtorq on standby. I remove the foam cover and everything is underneath it. Including (wrapped in towels) jack, digital torque wrench, tire plug kit, gloves, rags and more. Only takes a couple inches of depth from the frunk.

Great setup!
It's nice to be prepared for the unexpected.
Similar to loading rain tires onto the trailer before heading to the track. If they are on the trailer you most likely will not need them....but they are ready just in case!

Mine came in handy again today as I drove over debris on the freeway on ramp. I'm so pissed as I have to now replace both rear tires. Wont know about one front until I lift that side up. Had to tow it home. But removing the lock was extremely effortlessly. Best purchase of last year

Hi, which jack do you use. If it's that small I may get on .. Thankx

My goal is to have everything I need to deal with a flat. Meaning most are non-catastrophic (large puncture from road debris). Since the majority are just a screw or the equivalent. I want to be able to remove the tire myself to properly plug it. Since I'll be doing several road trips this year. I don't want to be stranded somewhere with no phone service and/or waiting for roadside assistance and dealing with a tow. Not to mention if you are in the middle of nowhere and get a tow, which I'm always apprehensive about. Will the local yokel tire shop be able to get the CL on/off competently. Renntorq makes this simple as opposed to the 4 ft. breaker bar/torque wrench setup.
