Yes it will work, with either the standard wheels or the magnesiums.
We've sold tools to a number of GT2 RS owners and everyone is happy so far.
If you have any specific questions please let me know. renntorq@gmail.com
Thanks,
John

What kind of double wrapped retaining ring magic is this?
How does one remove/reinstall such a deviously designed trap of evil? You know, if one wanted to disassemble the Renntorq, just for example, to put the thick steel arm into a mill to hack half the weight out of it? Special tool? Secret technique?
Also does the reduction set need to be pressed out? Or will it drop out once the ring is removed?
Thanks!

Three Wheelin'
The tool is brilliant Porsche should be including one with every car ..I am sure they can figure out how to work it into the cost of the car purchase at the customers expense.

While they're at it, maybe Porsche should include a front brake line lock (like Mustang does for burn-outs while drag racing) and have a steering column lock when the key is removed (to help with the centerlock procedure).

Oh I hope not. I hate steering column locks.
I would rather Porsche include fake vents and electronic fake engine noise, and video screens on the backs of the headrests. Also, the PASM button should have three modes: Regular, Sport, and "Stance."

Hi Christian,
It's actually pretty easy to take off. All you need is a metal pick like the ones in the link.
Once you have a pick I can walk you through it.

Don't worry about damaging the spring washer with the pick - it's steel and it's pretty tough.

Cool, thanks. What a fantastic, pro-grade tool you've created. Fitted case foam, excellent documentation included, etc. And you did this all yourself?
New thread in the future: Renntorq mods... to make it go even faster!
I'm thinking about a milled-out, aluminum reaction arm, a carbon fiber wheel protection cylinder, and lining the case foam with alcantera and contrasting stitching. That should improve lap times considerably.

Mine just arrived. Pro grade all the way. Nicely packaged, simple instructions and certificate of calibration. Almost tempted to drive around a construction site to get a flat to try it out. But not quite.

Thanks for the positive feedback.
For those who have been patiently waiting, all existing open orders will be shipping over the next few days, and we expect to have units in stock for the first time in the near future. We are busy at work developing our next product which should be available in Q1 2020. Thanks again for all the interest and support!
