I just used mine for the first time today. It's so easy to remove the lock. Set my tq wrench to 135lbs and remove. 95lbs to lock on and go home. It was so easy use and well worth it wo having the hassle.of using a long *** breaker bar or tq wrench. I used my regular 3 ft length tq wrench. Good investment
You sure? Because when I searched for it in Google and clicked on the link for Amazon it went to a different torque wrench. What is the URL you used? Actually I take that back. I didn't want the 250 foot pounds because you only need 95. Plus that one is 5 inches longer as well. I want the 150 foot pounds one like RENNtorq suggested. They don't have that one on Amazon and the ebay guy is out of stock at the moment. May not matter however if you don't carry it in the car. I will, so that's why I wanted a shorter one.
Positive. It was squirrly though. Sometimes the initial search on Amazon does not pull up what you want. You have to dig and sometimes find the same item for less money from a different seller. The Summit 250lb bar should fit in the frunk BTW. Plus I can potentially use it as a breaker bar if needed.
Spoke to John today & got mine ordered. Will save my back & possibly damaging my car.
When I tell you its so easy to use I really mean it. It takes next to 20lbs force to remove the lock nut. A 4th grader can do this. Seriously I'm not joking. I've had my tq wrench since 2000 so dont stress over getting one. Just go to Sears. I endorse this product as it made my wheel change easy.

Bluehorseshoe - That car looks fabulous no matter what wheels are on it! I'm glad you are enjoying the tool....I know getting wheels changed used to be a bit of an ordeal for you!

ubtrippin - Thanks for the feedback and glad it is working out well for you!
That would make it unnecessarily more expensive, as many people already own a nice torque wrench in this range (same as for 5-lug wheels)

Summit Tools 1/2 inch UltraPrecision Digital Torque Wrench, 12.5-250.7 ft-lbs Range Accurate to ±1%, Set Target Torque, LED and Buzzer, Calibrated (WEP4-340CN)
Got it today. It fits perfectly in the frunk with room to spare.
Can't wait to get mine (next couple of weeks or so) and when I do. I'm going to go driving around some construction sites in the hopes of picking up a nail.
I don't anticipate doing any more group buys. The tool can now be ordered directly from the website (link below in my signature). If you have any questions on it or the ordering process please let me know.
The Version 1 was only about $300 less, I'm getting the upgraded mods and RennTorque is paying the shipping plus I'm getting it tax free.
If I sell the car, I'm estimating I can recover over 60% of the cost.... so what is not to like?!!!
Thank you for this innovative tool - the centerlocks are the one thing about my Touring that I do not care for but you've resolved that.
Much appreciated
Received a polite confirmation email quite quickly and it was on the weekend - is there anything better than a hands on entrepreneur working on the weekend to show you their dedication?
Gotta love USA ingenuity - Thank you once again
I received my Acromann heat resistant caliper decals in custom color - Looks like I am running out of excuses holding off the caliper work - LOL
