I think I've seen posted in another thread a crimped area on the oil tank reservoir (seam for welding), not a pipe. Hmm, didn't know the pipe was a separate issue...

I also found a similar oil droplet forming on the metal piece outside of crank pulley as JC68. No oil stains on the diffuser tray yet. Car has 2000 miles. It should be the oil pipe assembly that supplies oil to the crank. This is a 991.2 GT3/RS only part as now we have hollow crank that oil can flow through. I suggest all of .2 GT3/RS owners should take a look at yours.

My paperwork shows new oil pipe part number ends with 93 while the PET shows 92. Should be an updated part.
There is a 300 mile .2 GT3RS in for the same oil leak. Looks like a common problem.

Yikes, not good. I will have to look at mine too. Suspect this is why all those GT3s and RSs are now being held up at port. my 991.1 RS was a freaking tank, never had a single issue. In my 991.2 RS I've already had a headlamp failure, now suspect this issue will be a mass recall. Bummer

Joe - what part is in your photo? Doesn’t look like the crank pulley...

So, possibly a PDK issue and not an engine problem? I just inspected my Touring ( with limited tools and space) and not a drop of oil was found anywhere. Also put my VIN# in Porsche's Recall web site and nothing showed up as of 12/13/2018.
