It is as if most Dealers just bloated their own cars they ordered on their own

I am having a tough time understanding why they did this and in the past it was not a common practice.

Was this done purposely or did every one have to rush all their orders in to get allocations since rumor is they all got a year's worth of allocations in "one shot"

High demand car so they can bloat up the builds to make a higher profit on options which tend to carry a higher margin. Tack on an ADM of 30k and I bet they are clearing 60k in profit for cash buyers. More if financed/leased.

McKenna Porsche-Two cars Black & Miami Blue- 35k over

I hope this helps someone looking for a car available today even though they are over MSRP.
If the Miami Blue one at McKenna is the manual one with low options (lift, no LEDs, no leather, no extended tank, and with light-weight-buckets) that was the one I decided not to buy because they got a white one instead.

You can get that one for $22K over. Had the paperwork in hand ready to sign.

So much for allocations going to Porsche customers, who would spec cars to their needs (vs. dealers hoarding allocations for themselves in an attempt to maximize profits on bloated cars). What part of repeat business and customer loyalty don't Porsche dealers understand?

Wait ifor the .2 RS. Rumors will spread again about last NA RS and ADMs will start around $100,000. Before ADMs these cars are at prices that most will not track any way so this has all gotten out of control. Too much wealth created last couple of years and Porsche's prices relative to competition based on value/performance a bargain so this is what you get.

Throw in many, including people even on this forum, looking to drive one of these for free a couple years before flipping and this adds to the frenzy

Thank you for posting the leads. It really shows market and can be used to beat up dealers with outsized ADMs.

As far as the bloated builds, someone can tell me if I am wrong, but I believe invoice is 90% of the base car and 80% of options so if you put on $30k in options that is $6k more profit for the dealer.

That list is a great starting point. I only wish that I wrote them all down. My guesstimate... that great list is a 1/4-1/3 of what's available, and it should only get better for buyers as new allocations begin to open up and more cars are delivered.

All cars buyers backed out of

Builds were probably locking and they were not getting bites at ADM's they were asking and just spec'd out themselves hoping to make it back when the car was on the ground. Thing is, most buyers will pay less ADM for a car they cannot configure. All these prices will be falling quickly. This time next year, used ones will be under MSRP.

***EDIT*** THIS CAR HAS BEEN SOLD PER DEALER

Here's an interesting chalk manual build arriving in less than a month. They will take $10k over (but don't tell them I told you so LOL).

I've been working with Jake for a while now on PTS Touring build. Awesome to deal with and highly knowledgeable. Dealer is Auto Palace Porsche in PA.

412.687.4000 x2207 ask for Jake Dunks-Campbell, and tell him Anthony referred you.

$10K over would be a good deal for that build!! Great option for someone looking for a MT car.

Plus dealers make a higher margin % on options than the base car. All things being equal I'd rather have more options and a low to no adm vs a high adm stripper, at least you're getting something for the extra $

Thank you for posting this, very tempting. Chalk is what I am looking for and the ADM is reasonable for a MT. The killer is all the extra "stuff" that bloated the price to 175K. I know I am being picky but still its like paying a 25k ADM for my ideal spec.
