That is not what I said if you read my post. I just asked since I am an original 918 owner how much pressure can I put on the dealer to get the same discount as I did on the GT3.
However just for you to know I am one of the top 3 customers every year of my dealership which plays in THE largest market in the States.
So yes I do expect a discount on everything I buy.

If you pass, I will take it at MSRP. I assume they get the profit from the sale so figure 10% on the base price and 20% on options. They should give you $5k to make you happy.

Just trying to figure out if I can twist their arm a bit.
Are you guaranteed the car from Porsche and can put pressure on dealer?
so let me get this straight. You are or aren’t a 918 VIP? You got a GT3 for under MSRP? If you are a 918 VIP you should be fairly educated about Porsche and the market? If so you think you are going to get a car that is trading at $100k plus over MSRP for GREAT AND I MEAN GREAT Porsche customers and you are asking if you can “twist” the arm of your dealer for a better deal than MSRP? I think I am missing something here.

yes, I have a 918 and part of the VIP program however my dealer told me he could only do msrp on the GT3 and other cars until I firmly requested it. For the GT2RS he is doing the same thing just wanted to know how much pressure I can apply.

Ive posted several pics of my collection on here including my GT3.

This thread easily gets sidetracked...
Anyhow, hope everyone has a great 2018!

Just spoke with Corey at Byers Imports, they just got a white PDK... Asking 15% markup but have a feeling they'd take $15k right now. 614-552-9374

Us mere mortals can only hope to get these cars at MSRP. How would we know if you can get a GT2RS for under MSRP?

Why don't you just threaten to buy the place and fire his sorry butt if he doesn't give an adequate discount. That should get his attention. And just think of all the non hassle discounts you'll get, with that deal !

Hahaha many on this thread lurking or posting are desperate for any .2 GT allocation even at an ADM, and this obviously very well off dude is trying to get help in getting an under MSRP deal on a car that is commanding $100k+ ADMs. I'm not sure if tone deaf, trolling, or pure ignorance. I don't think we peasants will be of much help.

wow. Tough crowd never thought myself as a troll.

Just asked a question and thought I would ask advice from other members and sponsors on this site.
I’ve been a member of this board for a while, have bought cars from Rennlist members and sponsors and have sold cars to other members all trying to be a part of the community

Anyways, If I see a car at msrp I will let you guys know.

Happy New year!

It's not your fault, some individuals here on Rennlist just can't stand people who buys a lot of cars and enjoys the perks of having a good relationship with his local dealers.

You have a great collection, enjoy them in good health!

I was offered a configurable January build today for $12k over MSRP. I'm most likely going to pass because my local dealer said they might be able to get me a fall allocation at MSRP. The ADMs are coming down.
