Read the entire thread, his posts are arrogant and inflammatory. I stated already, his money his choice. With that said, it's still a shame admittedly by the "poser" the car will never see the track, never. I realize there will be buyers that bubble wrap the RS and just putt around the neighborhood, but many better options than an RS. Again re read his posts.
I am this > < to changing my order from buckets to sofa.
Bucket seats are pointless on the RS's. Especially for North American cars, they don't come with roll cage so they are already not track worthy. Then there is the problem of having buckets but no roll cage to mount 6 point onto.
Anyone who ordered the bucket seats in a RS car in the North American market is a poser.
Bucket seats here in North American only make one 'feels' like they are in a track/race car, but they are far from it without the cage and belts. And for those that go aftermarket for the cage, then they could have got aftermarket for the seat too.

Please keep this post open as I found my leads thru this thread. Some are lucky to get MSRP, but most do pay ADM's. And we are not posers. Buckets/sofa's, pdk/maual, no need to call names.

It's about a 1/4 million car that the owner has the ability to option how he likes. The "posers" are fickle that they are converted from LWB's to Sofas or vice a versa. You spec a car how you like and comments on RL should not play a part to scrap an option. Then the "poser" wants to be seen in an RS with him admittedly ZERO % chance of ever seeing a track.
I say, your money your decision, but don't let others sway you.

+1. I don't like the name calling. If someone wants to be whatever a "poser" is so what. If a guy buys a cup car to go get milk why should he be criticized and judged. That's fine if he is enjoying the experience. And I agree that this thread has been very helpful.

I’ve waited patiently on lists at my local dealer and the dealer where I bought my Gt4... no luck. Called around to mostly laughs. I come to the realization money talks, and I’m getting desperate

A little banter back and forth and we're supposed to censor and close the thread?
