Checked yesterday with my SA that my delivery date is 2/9/18 while going to the shop on 12/15/17 and coming out 12/22/17.

Martin, mine is also scheduled to leave the shop on 12/22 but I haven't follow up on a solid delivery date yet but with them both coming to the west coast I suspect that they will be taking the same boat ride! Can't wait!

Sounds like our cars will be ship mates. Where does your car get off the ship? Houston or San Diego? Mine gets off in Houston to stay in Houston. haha

My car is back to V110, and so are all the GT3 PTS cars at my dealership (4). I changed colors from Oak Green Metallic back to Brewster (what I originally ordered before going to BRG then oak green metallic). Changing the color did not change the V status or production date (May), just an FYI in case anyone wants to make changes to their build, if others are in V110 also.

I make a point to try to never participate in any value Thread, or any conversation related to value. It’s my own way of Trying to be part of the solution not the problem, but just this once... I’m compelled.
Porsche pulled off a masterful move in creating “PTS FOR ALL” . They found a way to take advantage of the mad market of “MSRP+ADM” for certain cars, and took some of those profits away from dealers and speculators to bring the $$$ in-house. By normalizing PTS availability, while at the same time almost 3X’ing it’s price… porsche handsomely added to its most the profitable piece of its pie, namely the options, while leaving its carefully constructed pricing hierarchy alone. unlike overcharging for GT cars which would screw up Turbo hierarchy, they decided to overovercharge for an option such as PTS, while at the same time increasing its supply across the board. more supply AND more profit to meet the demand.. no downside! Who doesn’t want more skittles on the road??!!
Really smart move on their part.. now PTS will return to being an option for those who are in love with a color, as opposed to those who are in love with the idea of their cars appreciating. (Ahem)...
Ok, so I admit that haven’t been immune to the allure of “rarity perception” with PTS, so as I’m finding out this news of “PTS for all” I admit to feeling a slight amount of chagrin.. a gut-check of sorts. would I have gone PTS if I didn’t think it was “cool” or “rare”? the answer is I probably would have ordered PCCB instead, so yes, there is a twinge of regret. On the other hand, I picked a color which had historical significance and which my fiancée specifically asked for as it will be our honeymoon car, so that kind of makes up for it for it in my mind.
And yet.. and yet... Ask me again when you’ll find me every 50 Miles, kneeling on the ground, swearing up a storm, ***** deep in grimy brake dust which won’t come off my wheels.
