My original build date was November. When I requested PTS, it moved to May. When we changed it today to touring package PTS, it stayed as a May build.

According to our records of VIN's produced for North America only 2 cars have actually gone through production for PTS...

Fantastic news Sam! I guess I could do the same thing, but I'm leaning towards keeping it a standard GT3. Playing with the configurator I couldn't get a build with the aluminum trim and platinum stitching without removing the Touring package.

So I'm not exactly sure what to make of this.

Like so many other, at was stuck at V180, and now my status has changed to V110 IMP TEXT HANDLING REQUIRED

Not sure if this helps:



I'm assuming the codes are sequential, if so I guess I went backwards for some reason.

Any thoughts to un-depress me?

So last night out of the blue I get a call from a dealer I have a deposit down with...I met the owner thru a friend and I am definitely not a VIP...I had told him in March I would like a PTS slot...he said he would try...I checked in a few times with out anything concrete...in March he asked me what color and I said Gelbgrun....All of a sudden I now have a Feb 16 paint date and a call with the dealers exclusive guy in the morning....in reading this thread I think they are going to paint a few that color at that time and I got very lucky....I will know more tomorrow and will circle back with more details....

Mine did that yesterday. Dealer thought it wasn't a concern at all. You may be able to change spec if you want, unlike V180, which is what I did.

Yup the manager said that I shouldn’t be concerned and if it was me getting booted out of PTS there’d be no mistake about it in the coding, but I wanted to double check with the experts here just to find out what going from 180 to 110 means. And indeed the good news was that I could make a couple of changes to my spec as a result. One of them was requesting key color in PTS ... hope it doesn’t push production back a year lol.

While at V180, if you make any changes to your build it goes V110 so changes can be made. After changes made it goes V180 again. I have made a few build option changes and it occurred every time.

Ah ok.

But in my case I didn’t make any changes to trigger going from 180 to 110. It happened by itself and then I was able to make changes. I just hope going backwards in numbers isn’t an indication that it will take longer to get assigned a build slot.

The recent confirmation I was given (which may be different from prior processes) is that V110 'still consumes a PTS slot' and wouldn't result in the car getting booted or punted to later

IMP Text Handling Required means the IMPorter (PCNA in the case for North American cars) needs to do something with the order as a next step.

V180 is PAG text handling, so PAG must have done something to kick the order back to PCNA for some reason.

When folks request a V180 build to be unlocked, it gets kicked back to V110. If probably take advantage of it being open and make any final changes. Maybe they went V110 so folks could change to Touring I’d they wanted now that PTS is available?
