No 2019 Model Year 991.2 GT3’s
While visiting a west coast dealer recently I was told by the sales manager that there will be no 2019 model year 991.2 GT3’s. He went on to say that some buyers had intentionally pushed out delivery into the Fall to benefit fron the next year model change. He was having to make calls explaining to those who had pushed out delivery that they were still getting 2018’s even if the cars are built in December.

Someone on here had a chalk with houndstooth LWBS (non-PTS) if I remember correctly

Unrelated to the original thread but I also heard this from some SAs from clients who wanted later 2018 builds, the assumption was the 2019 991.2 GT3 would be rarer and "have a better value" over the 2018s since limited year-end production

I pulled the plug on all my cxx options. Now it's just acid green stitch and gelb vent slats. If the strike pushes it back, I'll add back all the cxx stuff.
Edit: I've already got a bunch of pepita from that place in England, so I'm just going to do the seat inserts post delivery.

Depending on whether I like the touring fabric, I am going to order this I think.

Can you post post some close-up pics of the material you have? Is it Pepita or Houndstooth? I remember that even the aftermarket Exclusive Option couldn’t match the factory texture, so curious to see what that England source is offering. Having seen the factory Houdtooth in real life, each thread is thick and intertwined in a way that makes the pattern. It’s not really cloth...
